Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of mysite-name's tile supply and processing services across England. Please read them carefully before ordering any materials or services to ensure a clear understanding of our operations, client responsibilities, and the project process.

1. Service Agreement

By ordering tile services with mysite-name—whether through consultations, quotations, or direct orders—you agree to these terms. Our tile services operate in compliance with relevant UK trading standards and construction material regulations.

We supply quality ceramic tiles, porcelain, and provide professional cutting, custom fabrication, and design services through our qualified team across England.

2. Service Scope and Project Requirements

Our services include tile supply, precision cutting, custom fabrication, and 3D design visualisation. We focus on providing materials and services that meet your project specifications while considering installation requirements and long-term durability.

While we provide expert tile services, the final installation results can be influenced by subfloor conditions, installation techniques, and environmental factors. We supply materials meeting industry standards but cannot control site conditions or installation workmanship.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project outcomes, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate room measurements and site specifications
  • Disclose any specific usage requirements or environmental conditions
  • Verify tile suitability for intended application before installation
  • Provide adequate access for deliveries and site measurements
  • Communicate design preferences and provide reference images

Clear communication and accurate information help us provide the best possible service for your project.

4. Consultations and Quotations

Consultations and detailed quotations are provided for all projects. These allow us to understand your requirements and provide accurate pricing. Site visits may be recommended for complex projects to assess specific conditions and requirements.

Quotation fees may apply for complex custom projects and are deductible from final orders placed within 30 days.

5. Ordering and Reservation

Project orders are secured with a signed agreement and deposit payment. The deposit is typically 50% of the total order value for standard items and may be higher for custom fabrication. Final quantities and specifications are required before production begins.

We cannot reserve production slots or materials without a completed agreement and deposit payment.

6. Cancellation and Changes Policy

Orders for standard stock items may be cancelled before dispatch with a restocking fee. Custom fabricated items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced. Design changes after order confirmation may incur additional charges and affect project timelines.

Reduction in order quantities after production begins may still be charged at the confirmed rate.

7. Payment Terms

The final balance for orders is due before dispatch or collection. We accept various payment methods including bank transfer, major credit/debit cards, and cash. Late payments may result in order delays or cancellation.

Additional services requested during the project may require immediate payment or be added to the final invoice.

8. Delivery and Collection

We provide delivery services across your city and surrounding areas. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by material availability, production schedules, or external factors. Customers are responsible for checking materials upon receipt and reporting any transit damage within 24 hours.

Collection appointments should be scheduled in advance, and customers should ensure adequate vehicle space and protection for materials.

9. Material Variations and Natural Products

Natural stone and certain ceramic products may exhibit colour, shade, and texture variations between batches. We recommend ordering all required materials from the same batch and purchasing 10-15% extra for cuts, waste, and future repairs.

Sample tiles show typical characteristics but cannot represent every tile in a production run.

10. Site Requirements for Services

On-site services such as cutting or template creation require adequate working space, power access, and safe working conditions. We require clients to ensure the site is prepared and accessible for our team to work efficiently and safely.

Additional charges may apply for difficult site access or conditions that require extra time or equipment.

11. Product Suitability and Technical Advice

We provide technical advice on product suitability for different applications. However, final responsibility for selecting appropriate materials for specific conditions (such as wet areas, underfloor heating, or high-traffic zones) rests with the client and their installation professional.

We recommend consulting with qualified installers regarding substrate preparation, installation methods, and maintenance requirements.

12. Project Photography and Case Studies

We may request permission to photograph completed projects for case studies and marketing. Separate written consent is required for public use of project images. You may withdraw consent for image use at any time by contacting us in writing.

Before-and-after project documentation is welcome and helps us showcase our capabilities to future clients.

13. Liability Limitations

Our liability for services is limited to the cost of materials and services provided. We cannot accept responsibility for aspects beyond our control such as installation workmanship, substrate conditions, or material performance in unsuitable applications.

We maintain appropriate product liability insurance and ensure all materials meet relevant British and European standards.

14. Complaints Procedure

We aim for complete client satisfaction with our tile services. If you have concerns about any aspect of our service or materials, please notify us promptly. We will address legitimate concerns through our established resolution process.

Material or service-related complaints should be raised as soon as possible, ideally before installation begins, to allow for immediate resolution.

15. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
